Christmas Pudding Marshmallows

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Hello Monday.  I hope you had a great weekend.  For me, it's all started to feel like Christmas.
One main reason for this, is that we collected our Christmas decorations from the loft on Saturday....and they are up.  Yes.  Already [sorry].  To celebrate, I made these on Saturdays morning.  Christmas marshmallow pops.  Following similar methods to these, with a pudding decoration.
If you fancy making your own - here's a quick and simple How To.

What I Used:
Marshmallows
Skewers
Milk/White Chocolate
Writing Icing Pens

To start, attach all your marshmallows to skewers and melt milk chocolate in a glass bowls over a pan of simmering water / microwave.  Dip your marshmallows in to the chocolate, twisting quickly to cover the sides of the marshmallow [do not worry if the tops of the marshmallows aren't covered - as long as the sides are, they'll be fine as these will be covered later with the 'icing'] and stand in a tall glass and leave to dry [pop in the fridge if you are short of time / impatient like me]:
Once dry, melt your white chocolate.  To create the icing, use a teaspoon and start by adding the chocolate to the top of the marshmallow.  Using the side of the spoon, drag the chocolate down the sides of the marshmallow in sections to create the dripping effect, continuing around the marshmallow and leave to dry [again, pop in the fridge if you are short of time]:

With a green and red icing writing pens, draw small holly leaves on the top and red berries.  I found keeping the marshmallows in the glass easier and held them steady:
...and your done - cute little marshmallows that will vanish in one mouthful.
Really tasty, fun to make and a little bit of Christmas pretty - yum.
